I trained as a photographer at West Surrey College of Art and Design and graduated with a photography degree in 1990. I spent the next 7 years working as a freelance photographer in London for clients that included The Body Shop, EMI, The University of North London, Lizard magazine, Televisual magazine, Random House, Thorsons and many others. My work in still life photography ran in tandem with my work as a photo-collage based illustrator.
